Lazarus has undergone genetic testing for a mutation associated with breast cancer because of her family history with the disease. She recently underwent a double mastectomy as part of treatment for breast cancer.

Arreola works a vendor booth in the market where she receives commission for selling land in a developing area in nearby Arizona and has struggled in the past financially where she almost lived homeless. Arreola, who was born in Jalisco, Mexico, has lived 25 years the United States as an undocumented immigrant.

  • Edward Zajac, 94, sits with a photograph of his wife Agnes at this daughter’s home in Henderson, Nevada. Upon his wife’s death in 1981, he commissioned a statue of St. Ambrose, in her memory, which was erected at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Salt Lake City. The statue was recently stolen and soon recovered after the story ran.
