Edward Zajac, 94, sits with a photograph of his wife Agnes at this daughter’s home in Henderson, Nevada. Upon his wife’s death in 1981, he commissioned a statue of St. Ambrose, in her memory, which was erected at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Salt Lake City. The statue was recently stolen and soon recovered after the story ran.
